Program Options

Individual classes may be scheduled at a TLC Center based upon student or parent interest. These optional classes may be arranged by the school, the class instructor, or by a TLC parent. If you have a great idea for a class and know just who should teach it, you can follow these procedures:

1. Contact the center’s Instructional Assistant for availability of the room on the date(s) and time selected.
2. If available, the instructor completes an application, including a W-9 form and description of class. The description should include the objectives to be taught, the ages of students, the minimum number of students required to initiate the class and the monthly student allocation, if any.
3. If the application is approved, the instructor obtains a Background Clearance.
4. TLC will advertise the class in the newsletter, website and Weekly Bulletins.
5. TLC will create and collect the student registration forms.
6. Before class begins, the instructor will sign the MOU detailing the policies and procedures.
