You can get all updated forms and schedules in one place from the <a href="http://www.thelearningchoice.org">TLC website</a></p><h2>Full Day Classes Start Next Week</h2><p>Don&rsquo;t miss the adventure! TLC&rsquo;s full day classes for grade EAK-5th start next week. Students get a chance to experience dynamic, thematic units in their core class and then get exposure to unique enrichment experience in the adventure classes. This is a tremendous value and a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with other TLC students. Adventure classes this year include art, archeology, and inventions.&nbsp; All classes are interactive with hands-on projects. You can still register for classes at your site. Sign up today. </p><h2>Free Teen Club Art Tours with Bus Transportation</h2><p>7th-12th grade teens will travel by bus and visit a larger then life, outdoor exhibit at UCSD. Get exposure to a college campus as you explore these sculptures with hands-on activities. Then take a guided tour of La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art featuring international artist, John Baldessari. Baldessari features bright, colorful collections of prints that he alters and crops to create his masterpieces. Learn all about modern art as you explore these two venues with guided education programs. TLC will chaperone this field trip. We need a minimum of 20 students to participate. This is the perfect prelude for the Art Field Day and a great complement to TLC middle and high school art classes focusing on color.</p><ul><li>Date: Monday, February 6</li><li>Time: 9 am to 2 pm (check-in at TLC La Mesa by 7:45 am)</li><li>Location: Students will travel to the museums via bus. Students will plot longitude and latitude positions as they participate in a simulated hurricane tracking activity. In addition, with the use of wind meters, students will track relative humidity, dew point, wind speed and temperature on board the flight deck of Midway. Every detail is painstakingly recreated as you take a personal journey back to the Middle Ages. Step back in time and experience spectacular horsemanship, amazing swordplay, medieval games of skill and an authentic jousting tournament between six brave knights of the realm. As the tournament takes place, the castle&rsquo;s serfs and wenches serve your students a feast fit for a King. The 2012 High Tech Fair is on Tuesday, February 7 from 5-8 pm at Del Mar Fairgrounds, Wyland Hall. The student/parent night is free (parking included), but RSVPs are required. Presented by Macy&rsquo;s, this popular event allows participants to enjoy half-off entry fees at 40 San Diego Museum Council member museums. Museum Month Passes may be picked up starting February 1, 2012 at any of Macy&rsquo;s fourteen locations in the San Diego Area, Temecula and Imperial Valley.&nbsp; The passes are free to obtain while supplies last. With a pass, up to four visitors can gain admission to any of the 40 participating museums for half-price.&nbsp; Plus, you can use the pass all month long!
